OCS for 5G NSA and SA
Online charging extended for 5G NSA then SA. Rating and policy had to survive new session types without rewriting every prepaid offer.

The constraint
NSA looked like 4G with extra sessions. SA did not. Offers written for 4G would have under- or over-charged data if the OCS treated 5G as unknown.
What we did
Session and rating maps for NSA first, SA in a second window. Existing offers reused where the unit still meant the same thing. New session types isolated so a mistake did not hit 4G prepaid.
How it ran
Lab on Ericsson core, offer classification, production shadow for NSA, then SA when the radio team was ready.
What was true after
4G prepaid kept rating. 5G sessions charged under the offers the commercial team had already sold.
